TheraManager is a medical office software that can be customized to any business configuration with only the functions that you require.	TheraManager is one integrated program but It can be customized to have only the functions that you require. You only pay for those functions which you need. The other functions will be effectively hidden. The program is rich with features that can be activated in the future as your needs change. The program can be customized to provide advanced medical office software or mental health office software for the smallest solo office to the largest group office. The program can be customized for different business/corporate arrangements. These options include: A simple solo clinician. A simple or a very large group with all the clinicians working for that single group. Multiple solo clinicians (separate corporate entities) sharing office space with a common receptionist, billing or office manager, and /or shared patients. All the accounts are kept separate for each corporate entity. Combination of individuals and a group. A group office where all the billing is done and payments collected separately for each clinician.
Customizable to Any Healthcare Specialty
	Definition of specialty and the use of the term 'Patient' or 'Client' throughout the program. Only those TOS and MOD Codes used by each clinician will appear in his lists. Each clinician will have his own list of CPT Codes .These can be searched in a Master List or entered. Suffices can be used to designate different charges for certain cpt codes eg injections or clinicians with different qualifications. Both the full range of ICD-9 and DSM-IV codes are available in the program. The ICD-9 codes can be grouped and categorized to match the clinicians specialty. The DSM-IV codes are already categorized and can be mixed with the ICD-9 codes. You can use or customize your own Templates for use in the Medical Record. Forms and the text to be inserted into the notes can be customized or made from scratch in the Form Designer to match your specialty. The list of medications at the Prescriptions Screen is learnt from those prescriptions written and hence becomes specialty specific.
Programable Features for Users
TheraManager can be customized to match the needs of individual users.	Colors on the Appointments Calendar showing the type and status of the appointments can be customized. The graphical calendar has 5 minute increments but grid bars at either 5, 10, 15 or 30 minute intervals can be set up. Option to have program open with a choice of views and patients (eg the clinician’s appointments for the day and his/her list of patients. Working hours for each provider can be set and displayed on the Appointments Calendar. The grid bars on the Appointments calendar can be set to 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 minute intervals or removed. Appointments Lists can be printed with several default options. Each clinician has his/her own set of locations or rooms where appointments can be booked and posted with the associated POS code. Cancellation notice for appointments can be programmed for appointment cards. Two possible action on double clicking a booked appointment depending on whether you are acting as a biller or a clinician: Opens the Posting Form. Opens the medical Record Notes Screen with a new note. Option for different formats when printing a list of Appointments. Telephone area code and dialing code can be set. Appointment Reminder Time. End of Appointment Warning Time. Option to use of Auto-fill for town, state and zip. Option to use USA based masks for dates, zip codes, phone numbers and social security codes or no masks for non-USA users of the program. Option to use of headed notepaper or have TheraManager create it for you when printing. Warning time and number for authorizations for managed care patients can be set. The layout of the EMR Notes Screen can be opened with customizable defaults for the panels. There are self-learning categories in the program for patient and family demographics, scanned records etc.
Insurance Billing and self-pay Billing Options make for Flexibility
Many medical insurance billing options allow TheraManager to accomodate to your medical billing needs.	There are several styles of billing that can be customized by patient : Direct Billing for self-pay pateints Estimated Billing to only bill the patient with their estimated amount eg the copayment. Deferred Billing to only bill the patient when up to three insurances have paid you. A simple writeoff mode. Billing style and amounts are remembered as defaults for each patient. Bills can be customized with or without reference to insurance and credit cards. Regular charges can be set for each clinician and cpt code. Allowed amounts can be set for each clinician, cpt code and insurance organization. Patients insurance plan can be set as a plan common to multiple patients or on a by patient basis. Copayment, variable rate copayment, deductible and annual maxima can all be customized and used along with the year-to-date totals for the billing. Tax rates can be customized for those states, which charge it. Paper or electronic billing. Option for integrated credit card billing. Automated check handling option will become available. Bills can be customized with or without reference to insurance and credit cards. Automatic messages on the bills can be customized, for 0, 30, 60 and 90 day bills. Default Fee for missed or cancelled appointments can be either fixed, full-fee or proportional. All the accounting screens show a grid that opens with a default set of records, which is the most appropriate for routine. However any specific date range can be selected and then locked for reviewing historical data.
