Previous Switched from Psych Office used on a MAC system.

General. Everyone uses TheraManager. Scheduling, Billing. All clinicians use Medical Records section for their notes. Psychiatrist uses prescription Writer. See TheraManager as mental health focused.  Use all available options to manage entire practice.

Key Solution to Clinical care. Shared patient management and control.  Each clinician can enter a note for a patient and TheraManager tracks who entered the note for follow up by another care giver. Therefore different clinicians in the office work with the same patient and TheraManager allows them to track their individual notes so the supervising psychiatrist can see everything that is going on with patient management.  This allows for much better control over the care given to individual patients and the clinicians can see clearly the medications being given to patients, etc.

Key Solution to Office Management. TheraManager allows much better tracking of patients for submission of 1500 forms to insurance and tracking to closure on EOBs.

  • The ability to define end dates on prescriptions so that you can track when the patient, requires a new prescription,  should come off meds or move to next step in the treatment process.
  • Enables tight control managing the patients treatment plan.,
  • The Scheduler highlights everything is about making things more efficient in the office and between caregiver and patient. Two very nice features include sophisticated, color – for example indicators for patients in the waiting room that allows you to communicate patient flow very well, and a visible indicator for provisional appointments.

Previous Therapist Helper. Switched because it was terrible and had all kinds of problems. The staff of Therapist Helper combined the practice’s databases and lost data. The office used other products in addition to Therapist Helper but couldn’t wait to give them up.
