- Login requires a login Name and password that also identifies the user to the Program.
- Logout is available for leaving the machine unattended without closing the Program so that it can continue to receive phone messages but not be accessible without the password..
- Access is defined at an Administrators Screen. Access can be restricted to specific screens and to the records of specific Clinicians and business entities.
- ALL the files in the Database are encrypted.
- Transmission on the network is encrypted.
- All the above features ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Backup onto removable media is extremely important and is built into the Program. The Program creates a zip file of the database that can be saved to a specified drive, which is remembered after the first backup. These features make Backup fast, foolproof, reliable and secure since the backup is still encrypted.
- A restore capability of the backed up database is also included.
