- After that a Support and Maintenance Contract is required that covers
- Updates to the program. These occur typically monthly and include new features and changes to medical billing requirements, eg the introduction of national provider numbers on the new 1500 forms.
- Updates to the database engine approximately every 2 years.
- User support for trained personnel, but not training of new personnel.
