- There are 3 types of Notes/Reports and 2 single notes for each Patient:
- Medical Records that are locked after 7 days or can be locked and signed manually.
- Private Notes that can only be read by the user, who wrote them.
- Reports are locked after 30 days.
- The single notescan be used as suggested or for other purposes. One is intended as a Summary and the other is for a Treatment Plan. They are not locked or lockable.
- You can design your own templates as the basis for a medical record, medical chart use them in template mode.
- Insert customized text from your own forms, diagnosis screen, patient's meds etc.
- Ready for Voice Recognition. Ready for a Tablet PC.
- A search engine that allows logical searches of (ie 'google') all the Notes.
- Many useful shortcuts and inserts such as Header and Footer, and patient information including name, address, age etc.
- Basic word-processor functions such as Cut, copy, paste, save to file, font etc.
- Printing of single or selected records.
- A search engine allows the whole medical record to be searched for key words.
- Links to stored files can be inserted into the medical record and will open that file when selected.

- Checkbox forms and the corresponding text for the record can be designed by you for any specialty using the Checkbox-Form Designer.
- The text corresponding to the checkmarks can be inserted into the medical record or a report.

- Records of the forms themselves can be kept by date for each patient.

- The ICD-9 screen opens for all medical specialties. ICD-9 Codes for Medical Assessments can be located by code or searched using a search engine.
- TheraManager will learn which ICD-9 codes you use and make your own group or you can create your own group or groups.
- Codes can be sorted by category, code or alphabetically.
- Coding can be done by drag-and-drop.
- A diagnostic summary the ICD-9 diagnostic assessment can be inserted into the medical record or a report and printed.

The types of files that can be viewed, or listened to include
- bitmap for high resolution graphics
- jpeg for pictures
- jnt for pen images written and saved on a TabletPC
- pdf files that should be your standard for all scanned material
- tiff for Windows faxes
- winfax for Winfax faxes
- doc for MS Word documents
- rtf for shared files
- avi for video clips
- mp3 for audio
- mpg for audio
These files would normally be stored on your computer or on a server. Once accessed, the paths to specific folders are remembered to make the job of assigning a file to a patients record very quick and easy.
Examples of uses include:
- Scanning handwritten notes as pdf files and then linking them into the patients record.
- Lab tests
- Insurance cards.
- Chidrens drawings.
- Recordings.
- Digital photos of lesions etc.
The links (effectively hyperlinks) can also be inserted into the medical record note (electronic chart) so that the images can be viewed in context with the notes.

- The Prescription Screen allows prescriptions to be written and/or recorded.
- The Prescription Writer learns the medications, generic name, doses and the regimens that you use to quickly customize your own list.
- A Master List of medications used in Mental Healthcare and their doses is provided.
- The medical Prescriptions can be written either on blank paper or on State blanks. Each record can be annotated.
- medical Prescriptions can be hidden when they are completed or discontinued, so that only the current prescriptions are seen when the screen opens.
- The current prescriptions can be inserted into a Medical Record or Report. Prescriptions can be annotated.
- Any date-range of the Patients medications can be printed with the annotations.
- The number of days supply of a medication is stored and can be used to list those patients whose medications are expiring in the next number of days.
- Prescriptions can be faxed automatically using Winfax.
- Can specify a local printer that is not the office default printer.
